Safety and Preparation:

Your Key to a Successful UTV Adventure

Your safety and preparedness are paramount during the UTV Fest. Before you embark on your thrilling trail rides, here are some essential guidelines and reminders to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience:

Trail Ride Rules and Rider's Meeting:

Familiarize yourself with the "Trail Ride Rules" section on our website. These rules are designed to ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Attend the rider's meeting before each trail ride. This is your chance to get any questions or concerns addressed, and to receive important information about the day's ride.

Mind the Pace: It's Not a Race:

Remember that this event is not a race. Speed is not the focus. Instead, take in the breathtaking scenery that Arizona has to offer and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow riders.

License, Registration, and OHV Decal:

Have your driver's license, vehicle registration, and OHV (Off-Highway Vehicle) decal readily available at all times.

If you don't have an OHV decal, you can purchase one online at AZStateParks.com or through any Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) office.

Be aware of and adhere to Arizona's road laws and requirements. UTV Offroad Adventures is not responsible for any failure to comply.

Waiver and Minor Release:

To participate, you'll need to sign a waiver of liability when picking up your participant packet.

Participants under 18 years old require a minor release form. This can be completed during registration with proper identification. You can also download and complete the minor release form prior to the event. Click here to download a copy of the minor release.

Sharing the Trails Responsibly:

Keep in mind that trails and roads are two-way. Stay vigilant for oncoming UTVs, even on narrow paths.

When passing dispersed campers, buildings, or other traffic, slow down, reduce dust, and maintain courtesy.

Communication Tools: Radios and Phones:

Radios are highly recommended for communication. Check with ride leaders for the daily frequency.

If you don't have a radio, bring your cell phone and charger. Keep in mind that remote areas may have limited cell service.

Ride Together, Account for Each Other:

Participants are accounted for on each ride. Do not leave the ride without communicating with your ride leader.

Each ride has a designated tailgunner/sweep rider to ensure group cohesion and safety.

Be Prepared for Changing Weather:

Be ready for potential rain, wind, or cold evening weather. Pack accordingly with raincoats, warm clothing, and protective gear.

Carry snacks, food, water, and extra fuel as needed for the trail.

Bring a raincoat or parka and essentials like a camera or binoculars for wildlife viewing and capturing the beautiful surroundings.

With these safety precautions and preparation tips, you're well-equipped to embark on your UTV adventure during the UTV Fest. Enjoy the exhilaration of off-roading while prioritizing safety and respect for your fellow riders and the environment.
